This season kind of pisses me off.
The first episode was pretty good, but the second episode just didn't do anything for me, like you said.

Posted: 1/15/08 at 9:05pmThis year sucks so far. I think the only redeeming thing so far was the hot prison sex. The whole Les Girls thing is annoying as hell. I don't care at all. And the concept of all the hot chicks hitting on Jenny in the story makes me sick. And Jenny just makes me sicker this year that she did in previous seasons. Kit walking down the halls of the prison all bad ass was just ridiculous. Since when would visitors have to walk past cells to get to a visitors room? It's just bad. They need to get back to the core characters and the focus on relationships. Shane boinking two sisters and the mom all in the same day was just crazy. They need to turn this thing around.

Posted: 1/16/08 at 12:43amPam Grier is a terrible actress. She's difficult to watch. And I don't find Marlee Matlin sexy. Beals needs a tiger. Alice is the only character I am really liking so far. I miss goofy awkward Dana.

Posted: 1/16/08 at 2:02amI agree 100% about Jenny- I wish she would have drifted off to sea with her book and her stink attitude. I also agree about Marlee Martin- she does nothing for the show or Bette, for that matter. I love the tension between Bette and Tina- you KNOW they're getting back together. Shane is usually my favorite character, but Sunday's show was just ridiculous and predictable. Shane needs a better storyline to work with beyond sex and breaking hearts. Alice is cool, and Max also needs a storyline. What happened to that girl from last season he was with when his mother died? ( I can't remember her name....) It wasn't the best two episodes that I have ever seen, but I'll keep watching...I'm addicted!!!!

Okay, season 1 I was mad for Marina and they took her away. Season 2 or 3, I loved Dana... they killed her. They better not be taking my Helena away. Although I am a big fan of independent Helena.
New Shane won't last.

First I was HATING Jenny, but now I think it's hilarious. Mia Kirschner is having a lot of fun with the role. I also thought the whole Les Girls thing was ridiculous until Adele's character started to develop. I cannot WAIT to see where that is headed. It's delicious...very All About Eve!

The show is a total guilty pleasure for me now. I know 98% of it is crap, but I still manage to catch the replays every week.
Jenny has always been the character I loved to hate. And I agree, bringing Adele in as the twisted assistant was a great move.
Btw, is Helena gone for good?

Absolutely! 98% of it is garbage, but I watch anyway, too.
Kelly McGillis has aged terribly. I had no idea it was her until I read it here! You know she'll wind up being a closet case. They were dropping anvils all over the place. The L Word is never subtle.

It's almost a perfect copy of some movie I saw with Britney Murphy where she was kicked out of the Navy when she was caught in a gay bar by her commanding officer.
I hope Helena is not gone. She was crazy hot. This Alice outting people is REALLY a bad idea. They really want me to stop liking her. And forgive me, but Pam Grier canNOT act.

She's supposed to be an Angelina Jolie type that just oozes sex, but I'm not buying it.
I think Katherine Moennig is pretty. Shane, not so much.

I think that Shane is definitely the coolest on that show. Her storyline is unbelievebale though, I do agree about that. No one in LA can resist Shane...please. I guess they go for the rebel Joan Jett look in LA.
And Kelly Mc Gillis looks horrible!!! I told my boyfriend that it was her, and he didn't believe me until he saw the credits. Also, is that Cybill Shepard's real daughter? The actress playing her daughter looks so much like her, it's uncanny.
