The new GOLDEN AGE of Television?

Does anyone think this current wave of the last 2 years plus what seems to be promising years ahead with so many great cable shows and network shows being challenged (and thankfully, reality Tv taking less of a prominence)- has brought us into a new golden age?

There is just so many good choices- great television- great film actors doing television-
can this possibly be a new golden age and do you think it has already trumped the original golden age?

So many people are hooked on too many shows as of late.
and the numbers keep growing!
