Troll 2? Forget it! The king of all time so bad it's awful movies is coming to BD and also in...wait for it...3D!!

Yes fellow movie fans, The Room will be unleashed sometime next year in glorious hi def.

Tommy Wiseau has told EW he will theatrically release a 3-D version of his cult movie The Room, either at the end of 2011 or in 2012. “The process is very detail-oriented,” said the actor-writer-director. “But we want to do it because I’m obsessed about 3-D right now, if you ask me.”

The famously mysterious filmmaker has no plans to alter the film for the 3-D version which means the ever-growing army of Room devotees can look forward to the sight of Wiseau’s derriere in three dimensions during the film’s lengthy sex scenes. “My bottom will have to be in 3-D because I’m not changing anything,” he explained. “So you’ll be very close.”

In addition, Wiseau intends to release a Blu-ray version of the film, whose bizarro delights are beloved by such comedians as Paul Rudd, David Wain, Jonah Hill, and Tim and Eric. “We want a Blu-ray release before Christmas 2011,” he said.” I have hundreds of emails from people saying, ‘We want to see the behind-the-scenes footage.’ I say, ‘Yes you can, as soon as we release the Blu-ray.”

If you've never seen this movie I must stress that it is essential viewing. Your jaw will drop at just how inept and clueless Tommy Wiseau (writer, director, star) can be.

I remember that film! I only saw clips. There is no way I could sit through the entire thing. What made it such a cult favorite is that the director was completely sincere in his total ignorance. It was not directed with a single hint of intentional camp or irony.

This film is mesmerizingly bad. I had to watch it again, just convince myself it wasn't a nightmare. There truly are no words to describe this film.

I have seen this movie many, many times. I do not think I can handle the HD, 3-D dimensions of those awkward, hysterical sex scenes. It's really a one in a million film in terms of badness.

Am I the only one that read all of those quotes in Tommy Wiseau's voice?

I won't as I do not have Blu Ray plus never heard of the movie. In addition, the few attempts I have seen at 3 D TV have been less than satisfying.
