Seriously, I've gotten so tired of people talking about how "bad" NJ is.
That's why people from so many surrounding states (yes, including New York) love to come to our beaches and amusement parks and quaint little ocean getaways during the summer.

Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway is coming to NJ, yet again, on Sept 22...Kean University, Union, NJ to be exact.
And the lovely and talented Mandy Gonzalez will be there!!!
So Jersey can't be all bad!

Nothing at all, it's just that the population doubles when they come here for the summer. I am truly surrounded by retirement communities. (Well, my one beef with them is that since they consider this their permanent residence, they vote here. The county has a really hard time getting the budget passed. We need more money for special needs education and it is the senior community that always shoots that down.)

Posted: 9/3/06 at 11:44amWhat town are you in, that has so many of the retirement communities? I stay in Long Branch, and I don't think there are too many of them there.
