Not really. I'm more afraid and jealous of independent, educated PEOPLE to begin with. I dunno. I feel extremely jealous anytime I hear of someone starting a cool new career or basically just doing something with their lives.
They were chosen.

Well, I suppose it's not strictly wrong to say they were chosen, but you make it sound like it happened out of nowhere. In my experience, the people with cool jobs and the people who are going somewhere with their lives worked really hard to put themselves into a place where they could be chosen.

Wait, what year is this?
I kind of thought we all do something with our lives... so isn't everyone chosen then...?

Here, Cruel. It makes watching life from the sidelines a little easier. I've been told.

It depends what you consider a "cool job/career" but regardless, you aren't going to get anywhere in life without reaching for something and having ambitions. If you want to be successful, you need to work for it. Nothing is free, including success.
Edit: Being a female and having responded, I'm curious as why this is specially related to women.

As opposed to Cindy Sheehan who is the perfect example of mental health? The same Cindy Sheehan who was chummy with Hugo Chavez?

Nope, but I am afraid of this crazy loon!
Sen. Elizabeth Dole (R-NC) yesterday introduced an amendment that would have added the name of Jesse Helms to the title of the HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria bill that is before the Senate. Helms, who died eleven days ago, was the nation's most vociferous foe of federal funding for HIV/AIDS programs from the epidemic's beginning until he left the Senate.

Posted: 7/16/08 at 1:06pmI think Cindy Sheehan should get a pass. I think any grieving mother looking for an outlet to mourn should get a pass and not have their mental stability questioned while they're being manipulated from all side during, in what I imagine, is their most vulnerable state.
