Poor guy, he's a veritable fox in the headlights, though somewhat more personable than that stiff, Scott. And at least he says "I don't know," and "I'm sorry," phrases to date never otherwise used by this Administration.
But listening in, is the phrase "hug the Tar Baby" really all that cool? I thought Uncle Remus metaphors went the way of Zip a dee doo dah.
And slightly OT: What do we make of the Defense Dept finally releasing surveillance footage to "prove" Flight 77 hit the Pentagon. That smug Barbara Starr atCNN was tsk-tsking the need to address fringe elements of the internet who perpetuate conpsiracy theories. But even those of us who believe 9/11 "really happened" find it perverse that no footage has ever been shown. We see footage of every deli, 7-11 and dry cleaners that's robbed, but have not been privy to this. I just find the timing of this release curious, though not for conspiracy reasons.

Well, as you pointed out, the spin doctors will go to town with the release of this footage, as if the gaping holes in the Pentagon should have made us logically conclude that a plane struck the building sans footage.
Sleight of hand doesn't even work for David Blaine these days, ya know...
