No. We're not going anywhere. To me, this isn't about Hillary or Obama. It's about letting our democracy happen. Jon Stewart's take on this is perfect.

i know jerbs, i know. i just wish the clinton folk would understand where us obama folk are coming from. its not that obama and his people want to stop democracy (which every damn clinton supporter on tv keeps saying. "senator obama wants to prevent people from voting. senator obama is so scared of voters in pennsylvania." its amazing what these people suggest). we all know they dont both need the supers. its just that clinton would have to win every single remaining state by more than 20 points to pass his delegate count. that will never happen. so the supers will need to swing the nomination her way even tho obama will have the delegate lead. that is going to cause some serious damage to the party.

and the longer this drags on the longer john mccain makes his claim for the white house. he will be our next president, i am certain of it now.

i wish there was a way to reverse the numbers and put clinton in the lead so we could see how all the clinton supporters would be calling for obama to drop out...

its just silly really. anyhow... i'm going back to focussin on autism. :)

thats my last political rant for a few weeks... i'm tired. Updated On: 4/2/08 at 11:59 AM

Yes yes. I know all the talking points on both sides. Thank you.

I think both sides understand where the other is coming from.

"Yes yes. I know all the talking points on both sides. Thank you.

do they? i'm not so sure anymore. anyhow, PA will go to clinton, she'll soldier on, they'll split the remaining states, if obama gets the nomination the republicans will play dirtier than clinton already has and mccain will win.

if hillary gets the nom the party will suffer an embarrasment and mccain will win.

so we all lose, in the end. how are things at a catered affair?? lol. Updated On: 4/2/08 at 12:04 PM

We're not going to win with THAT attitude, young man!

I think you are being a titch hysterical there. I think the real truth is that if she stays in it, she could win it. And some of you want Obama to be the candidate, so the possibility he won't be is upsetting.

We can spin doomsday scenarios all day going either direction. So sad if this country can't be patient and let all people have a say in this.

And, if we don't come together in November to defeat McCain, then we deserve what we get.

If Obama in the nominee, McCain will win the electoral votes in the swing states. Obama cannot win.

FLORIDA:
Clinton 44 - McCain 42
McCain 46 - Obama 37

OHIO:
Clinton 48 - McCain 39
Obama 43 - McCain 42

PENNSYLVANIA:
Clinton 48 - McCain 40
Obama 43 - McCain 39

Yesterday's Qunnipiac Poll. Michigan is expected to be similar.

Obama cannot take the swing states. He will be another McGovern.

You know what would be nice? A Gore/ Clinton ticket. I know it wont happen. But it would be nice.

No one can predict the future, but I think Obama would be a much more dynamic campaigner. I think he's far more likely to capture the undecideds than HC.

There is not one single group of undecideds. There are dozens.

Obama cannot capture the undecideds in the swing states.

Why should she drop out before the last primary? It makes no sense. Then the supers need to decide SOON after the last vote so we can all move on. It's not Hillary, Barack, Howard Dean or whoever you want to blame thats tearing the Democratic party apart it the 24/7 news pundits. BTW Jon Stewart is great! Thanks for the latest numbers PJ.

More from the Quinnipiac pollster:

"When it comes to November, Sen. Hillary Clinton's strength is a big edge over Sen. Barack Obama among white voters, who have not given a majority of their votes to a Democratic presidential nominee since Lyndon Johnson in 1964," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute." [...]

"At least for now, Sen. Clinton's argument that she is the better general election candidate in these key battleground states appears to have some validity," said Brown. "In this survey, her strength among white voters is why she runs better against Sen. McCain than does Sen. Obama.

"Roughly one in five Democrats in the three states say they will vote for McCain against Obama, but less than 10 percent say they would vote for McCain over Clinton. Among white Democrats, 23 percent defect to McCain in a matchup with Obama, but only 11 percent defect when Clinton is the Democratic candidate."

maybe bammy should send rev. kill whitey on a mission to educate those AIDS creating, 9/11 causing white bastards in the swing states. or maybe he could send donnie mcclurkin and jimmie meeks to drum up the anti-gay vote. that'd sink hillary.
