She says that she spent a couple of years on Broadway playing Mary Sunshine in CHICAGO, or at least her alter ego Jeffery Roberson did. Did anyone see his performance, and how was he in the role? I think Varla is PURE genius. Not sure Jeff did the show on Broadway at all, although I know he understudied, and did a tour that went to Japan. (The video of Varla arriving there is PRICELESS).
He's also a good actor. I had the pleasure of seeing him in a production of The Mystery of Irma Vep last Fall. Just brilliant.

I saw Jeff play Mary Sunshine on Broadway. As always, he was fantastic! He is so gorgeous in drag and that voice!
He is coming to Dallas for the Out of the Loop festival, and I can't wait!
