Is having vibratto for Musical Theatre very bad? I was talking with my friend, and she has a vibratto, but she really has a beautiful voice. I know it would not work for opera, but is it a bad thing for Musical theatre? I have noticed that a lot of people currently on Broadway have vibratto so I am just very curious. Thanks in advance.

Vibrato is a good thing. There are times when a singer will be directed to sing without it if a style calls for it--but it is a good thing.
I have vibratto. How do you get though? Does it come over time?

Vibrato comes from the natural relaxation from the vocal chords. It's the vocal chords' movement that provides the tremble.
Some could argue that vibrato comes from the fear of not being able to sustain a pitch, so a singer would go into vibrato when they feel as if they're about to lose pitch. It's much harder to sustain a note on pitch without vibrato just because once you've learned to use vibrato, there's an impulse to waver in pitch.
Being able to use vibrato correctly is not much a challenge. Being able to use it correctly at the right time is another story.
Oh, it came naturally for me, but I was always afraid that it was because my chords were weak. My voice teacher never said anything, so I didn't really care.
