A vote for Kerry really does allow the terrorists to win.

All I have to do is read the beginning of that URL. The New York Post? Really?

I've already let the terrorists win so many times since 9/11, I've lost count. Like directly after the attack, when I didn't buy a new car or travel to a U.S tourist spot. I don't even own a single American flag!

Nah.. I am voting Kerry/Edwards.

Coming from a place that, you know, actually lives with terrorists all the frickin' time, I don't appreciate being told that if I question the President, I'm "letting the terrorists win." That's the most offensive kind of bull****- the condescending kind.
I'd like to add that it's because of Bush I can't respect Dennis Miller anymore.

"Coming from a place that, you know, actually lives with terrorists..."
and where would THAT be?
Bush has increased the membership of Al Qaeda.
Bush has made us unsafe.
Bush's was "not really all that concerned with Osama bin Ladin."
Bush's family has longstanding financial interests with the Bin Ladin family and the Saudi royal family.
A vote for Bush is a vote for Bin Ladin and Saudi Arabia.

I'd rather elect a president who appeals to my hopes, rather than tries to manipulate me by appealing to my fears.

I'm just not sure how Bush can use the recent Bin Laden tape to scare the populace by saying, and I'm paraphrasing here: "Don't vote for Kerry or he won't catch this terrorist that I haven't caught. So vote for me, so I can catch the terrorist that I haven't caught in three years. Or else the terrorist won't be caught. Like I haven't caught him."
Nice try tho, Goth.

Problem is that you think Al Qaeda is an organization. It's not. It's a movement like Democracy was 230 years ago.

I, on a number of occasions, have posted "A vote for Kerry is a vote for Bin Ladin" every time you people have called for my crucifixion. So how is what Joey has said here any less offensive?

This just demonstrates how much of a masochistic martyr complex you've got Eric. No one has ever called for your crucifixion, you're starting to sound like Mel Gibson and as the kids on South Park said "He's bat s**t crazy."
Now, people HAVE called you a racist and a pig. That, of course, stands.
And no one actually CALLED you a Nazi after your disgusting statement that you'd vote for Hitler over Kerry.
We might have all thought that, but no one said it out loud.
You have no idea how Bush damaged the reputation of the US in the rest of the world.
If he's going to be re-elected tomorrow, the rest of the world will think all Americans have lost their mind.

not re-elected--elected for the first time
and it isn't going to happen anyway :)
Good point, jrb_actor!
That's what my badge says too: 'Re-defeat Bush in 2004'

So NOW we should vote for Bush just to displease Bin Laden? Allowing him to dictate who should or should not win one way or the other is WRONG...
It sounds like you are saying that we should vote for Bush to shove it back in Bin Laden's face...in which case the terrorists truly HAVE won because they are now controlling your behavior. You should not care what Bin Laden thinks when you vote...you should be voting for the best candidate.
And I would vote for Kerry to vote AGAINST Bush who frankly scares me more than all the terrorists put together.
Sorry but your logic is is NOT logical. You seem to be missing the fact that Bin Laden is TRYING to control your vote...so if you vote based on what he wants, you are still allowing him that right. You are saying, in other words 'I'll vote for Bush just to show Bid Laden I'm not scared of him'.
In that case BUSH too wins in more ways than one since he's just proven that instilling fear in people is the way to win an election...rather than asking people to think for themselves.
This is really sad.
Bush--no matter what his own personal intelligence level--has appointed the most incompetent group of boobs for his cabinet (Rumsfeld, Rice, the spineless Colin Powell...etc.). Plus! For a bonus, has the most corrupt and devious politician in my history as a Vice President. Whatever you may think of Kerry, I know in my heart he will make smarter appointments to cabinet. Bush needs to go back to Texas, and--yes, I mean this--have a stiff drink...he's clearly too exhausted to run the country anymore.
a vote for Bush is a vote for an idiot! Period! END OF DISCUSSION

A vote for Kerry really does allow the terrorists to win.
If people are going to allow Bin Laden's message to influence who to vote for, then whether they choose Bush or Kerry, they're just being idiots.
