These men and women deserve so much more than they are getting in terms of support and mental health services when they "come home" from Iraq. I have seen how this war has changed my own friend's son, as the man I knew when he left is nowhere to be found in the man that returned. I know he is still there, but he needs help to find himself again, and find away to put what happened to him in Iraq behind.
Unfortunately, Joseph Dwyer could not move past his experiences in Iraq, and though he returned home alive, he became another casualty.

Of all the disgraces that have piled up over the last few years, this is the one that I simply cannot process. To have "Support Our Troops" screamed in our faces, while at the same time having vet benefits systematically carved away, is monstrous.

They are treated horribly by the government. Electrocuted in their showers treated like crap in the VAs. I got an e-mail from the USO asking for donations for phone cards so our men and women can phone their families from overseas.
