Posted: 12/23/06 at 6:15pmI don't think people will have gotten any recordings for yet because it isn't Christmas!

Posted: 12/23/06 at 6:17pmI know, I know, but it seemed silly to ask which Soundtracks you WANT when tomorrow you'll start opening presents-- Which ones do you want, which ones did you get, how are they, etc!

Posted: 12/23/06 at 6:36pmAll I want for Christmas is a big dizzy queen meltdown! It would make me even happier than if they released a soundtrack to "Good Vibrations!"

Posted: 12/23/06 at 6:38pmI heard they're definitely recording the soundtrack to HIGH FIDELITY - this will be the show soundtrack, not the movie soundtrack, which is already available.

Ughh who cares if someone says soundtracks instead of cast recordings? You all know what it means, stop being so snotty.
That said, I would like Dreamgirls.

^^ Lol.
The only CD I asked for was Aida. But if I ever get any money I shall go and buy Les Mis, ACL revival, and many more.

I am hoping for at least Spring Awakening, and then a few others not yet in my collection which I left up to the discretion of my family.
We shall see.
Self-control is not my strong suit so most of the cast recordings and soundtracks that came out this year I already went out and bought instead of waiting until Christmas.

I asked for:
Billy Elliot
Les Misérables (as I only have the highlights version my friend burned for me)
The Drowsy Chaperone
The Wedding Singer
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
I completely forgot to put Grey Gardens, [title of show] and Dreamgirls on my list. Gah!! Guess where my grandparents' Christmas money will be going?
On a side note, I just bought The Producers film soundtrack (I say SOUNDTRACK because it's a film, 'kay?) for $1! ...Actually, I bought three - two as gifts for anyone I know who might actually enjoy listening to it and one for me! I guess the BX was overstocked or they just weren't selling - either way, it worked out well for me.

They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die

CDs???
Pfft!
I have the DVD of Val Kilmer in THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. A veritable train wreck and a prize addition to my collection. Truly, the CARRIE of this age.
