After reading various young adult reader books about her in middle school, Queen Elizabeth the First was my heroine. But then it turned out she's a bastard (WELL...if you accept Henry the 8th's divorcing and claiming Elizabeth as a bastard..and so on..and so forth)
But look how well she turned out!
