Posted: 2/2/09 at 10:25amHere in Woodstock IL, (Where Groundhog Day was filmed) Woodstock Willie also saw his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter. The thousands gathered rushed the "Hog master," knocked him down, seized Willie in a rage and tore the groundhog limb from limb. The surly crowd was still looting and setting fire to cars when I left for work.
