Whatever Happened to Easter Bonnets?

My four year-old granddaughter loves to wear hats. I bought her a nice Easter dress and got her patent leather shoes to wear with it but I can't find hats for little girls. I've been to K-Mart, Macy's, Conways, Carters, GAP Kids and a few other places.

Any suggestions?

I used to buy Easter hats from Kohl's. I was still doing this six or seven years ago, so they probably still sell them!

There's no Dillards here but I guess I'm off to Kohl's tomorrow.

I may have to resort to a headband but she really likes hats. She also loves nightgowns but I'm able to find those locally.

well since Easter is a week from Sunday, I am sure you could find something online and get it in time for Easter

I just read an e-mail from a neighbor. She suggested the local ma-and-pop children's shop in town. Why didn't I think of that?

Dollypop: Is the Colony Shop still in Patchogue? They always had a great selection for children. Also, I just love your avatar!

I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my neighbor's advice and tried one of the local specialty shops and they had a nice assortment of Easter bonnets for little girls! I also found white gloves for her.

Of course I brought it to her to see if everything fit (NOW is the time to make exchanges, not next Saturday!)and not only do they fit, but they look sensational on her and she LOVES them.

Now, to find her one-year old brother a suit!
