...from not being in a show for a while?
It's double worse for me because I probably won't be in another one for about two-three years or so (The price you pay for being a college freshman.)

Wha. . .Wha. . .You can't be in a show while your in college!!! How. . . wha. . maybe I shoudlnt' go to college after all.
Anywho, I'm having the same problem only chances are the next show I'll be in is YAGMCB so that'll cure any withdrawls five times over.

Just finished up with a show.
It was my last ever high school musical. So i might not be feeling withdrawl symptoms for shows, but a feeling of loss. High school is officially over. It ended when the curtain came down. I graduated in the last refrain. 
But i do really need to get into another play right away. Community theatre here i come.

Posted: 6/27/06 at 7:48pmWell it's not that you won't be able to do anything in college, it's just that they very rarely cast college freshmen. The only time they would is if you are amazingly and ridiculously talented, which I am not.

My show is almost over. Then I will be in serious withdrawl. I have another show right after it. But the show I'm in right now is so much fun...

My last show was the play I wrote, directed, and acted in (BUCKET OF SMILES) and it was incredible.
I really really really hope I have an opportunity to do theater this year.

Posted: 6/27/06 at 9:23pmI will be soon...I'm in Camelot now, and will be in Cabaret towards the end of the summer, but after that, I'm off to college. The school I'm going to is quite literally in the middle of nowhere, and I doubt they have community theatre around. And God knows I'm not good enough to be in the college shows...what I'm hoping is that since my university has a relatively unknown theatre program, that means it's a pretty bad one, and I'll be able to make it into a few shows, lol.

Ah, me too! I was going to audition for Twelth Night, I think, but it didn't work out, and so I'm starting to suffer withdrawl symptoms. You know, the usuals: randomly launching into monolouges, working dance steps into everyday walking, that sort of stuff. lol.
It's so odd to be looking forward to school starting!
