#1Will Rush be voting for HILARY this fall?

"Good news for Rush-haters. Not only has the controversial conservative radio talk-show host got a sore throat, but he's anguishing over the inadequacy he sees in the current field of Republican presidential candidates. You can actually hear the pain, the mounting impatience, the frustration in his voice. It's kinda sad, if you believe in talk-radio.
Monday on-the-air he'd had enough of these impure candidates and enough of all these questions about his endorsement and when it would come and how he'd make his decision and he just blurted out to Jim in Kansas City and a few million others listening in: "I can see possibly not supporting a Republican nominee.""
Other gems? He might vote for Romney as he thinks his conversion to conservatism is "Genuine", but he certainly won't be voting McCain.

But isn't it pretty to think so?
I do think it's interesting that the Republican Party's biggest cheerleader can't come up with a few kind words for ANY of his party's prospective nominees.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 1:40pmRush and Tom DeLay have voiced what of lot of Republican opinionmakers are saying about McCain and Romney and Huckabee. But read the David Brooks op-ed linked in Papa's thread for the latest spin.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 1:43pmI think that it's a safe bet that they would stay home rather then vote for Clinton or Obama.

the self appointed grand poobahs of the gop might decide to stay home, but the rank and file will hold their noses and vote after having seen what happened in '06. president clinton re-dux? please. they'll beat down a path to their already counted votes at the diebold machines and vote again for good measure.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 3:03pmMy mom was listening to the radio this morning, the same local station that airs Limbaugh. Apparently, he was suggesting that he would just stay home election day and not vote for anyone.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 3:05pmWell Skittles, that wouldn't surprise me. After all, Rush wasn't even registered to vote until after his show went national and he got some flack for it. So, when Rush goes on and on about Reagan being the best president ever- remember: Apparently he still wasn't quite good enough to vote for.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 3:10pmPapa--the self-appointed poohbahs of the GOP have already written off this election and are looking toward 2012.

Posted: 1/22/08 at 3:17pmjoe, you're just upset over the fact that you were dating a guy named chad during late 2000 early '01 and had to break up with him because you couldn't introduce him with a straight face. it's ancient history, man. move on.com
