Writing Your Own Characters

Who else writes their own characters for themselves to perform, whether it be for a play, a movie, or anything else.

I'm working on a film for which I have written two characters for myself. One is named Wisp and the other is his long lost brother, Brother Samuel.

Wisp is a highly eccentric, long-winded, overbearing Southern weirdo who may or may not have a mental disorder. He believes that he is the sole savior of mankind and will go out of his way to to prove this point.

Brother Samuel is an equally eccentric, but very suave and sadistic man. He left the family for unknown reasons.
