this time it's state senate majority leader and queer-hating wildly opportunistic pedro espada.

ny politics is better than a soap opera

I don't think you're going to be seeing anyone mounting a defense for Espada here. There isn't one.

Besides, we're all to busy watching the "Teabaggers" trying to out Lindsey Graham.

Most of us do not rally around the corrupt. (Charlie Wrangle should go as well).

I say good riddance to bad rubbish.

Neither party is perfect, and as I have said before, if a true social liberal and fiscal conservative emerged as a national candidate (I don't think Ron Paul is mentally stable, so I cannot vote for him) I will work for that candidate. Until then, the Dems look a whole lot closer the reality than what pretends to be the GOP these days.

Any corrupt politician breaking the law deserves to get caught. I'm bipartisan when it comes to that issue.

And wasn't Espada at one time a Republican?

Perhaps that's where he honed his corrupt ways.

It's that stench that Republicans give off that's so hard to get rid of.
