anybody else watching "Easter Parade" this weekend?

Anne Miller doing "Chasing the Blues Away," Judy singing "I love a Piano," Fred Astaire doing everyting -- and the art direction and high style we don't get anymore. It's a necessary seasonal ritual. Anyone with this film in their private collection, don't forget to take a look.

no. I'm watching JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. The new stage version - not that movie... ugh... grose.

Watched it just this evening! Great film, i'll probably be buying it. I hadn't seen it before tonight, and I must say, it definely made me like Ann Miller. I didn't like her as Lois Lane in the movie of Kiss Me, Kate. Her "Always True To You" wasn't pleasant to listen to at all. *Dives into trenches from angry bullets*.

Ann Miller is an acquired taste. But her "Shaking the Blues Away" is the perfect Easter sentiment. It's all about rebirth and renewal.

My favorite Judy song in the movie is "When the Midnight Choo Choo Leaves for Alabam"--I love to see her having fun like that.

Oh gosh, when I visited Sydney they were airing last years episodes of 'Dynasty'. Cheers to progress! :)
I'll be getting out and getting some chocolate and jelly beans in a bit wildcat. Believe you me!

i've taken up the tradition of watching Shakespeare in Love at eastertime... i know, it's weird... but i saw it at the movies at this time when i was in california... guess it's just 1 of those remeberance things that stuck around... so i'll be watching it soon
