I guess I would label myself a Libertarian or an Ayn Randist. Socially I'm liberal, but economically I'm conservative. I just believe that everybody should be able to do their own thing as long as it doesn't hurt others or infringe on their rights.

I've never really been too into politics... but I think overall I'm a moderate.

I'm with DG and Becky. The closest label I've found for what I am is Libertarian.

Queer feminist here. Does it make me liberal if I believe that gay people should have the same rights as everyone and women should be able to compete in the marketplace of ideas?

I'm sure most of the old white and dying Republicans would say so.

For the record, I am NOT, I repeat NOT a democrat. I know too much about the history of the party, and too little about the direction of the party to label myself thus.

I am conserviative on issues of how people treat each other, but on most issues I am progressive. I think my wife may be to the left of PJ.

The Right rarely criticizes itself. It falls into lockstep with its own worst elements and thereby consolidates its power.

The Left criticizes itself compulsively, to such a self-destructive degree that it neutralizes its own political clout.

If I err on the side of seeming uncritical of the Democratic Party, it's just that I think it's crucial to RUN THE REPUBLICAN BASTARDS OUT OF WASHINGTON first, and criticize later.
