tht seemed like a pretty good full song audtion but i dont think it will work for this audition cuz we only get 16 mesures but idk

What's your voice type? Soprano? Alto?

There's a book for both of those filled with audition songs that are 16 measures.

depending on how formal the audition is....

"a dream is a wish your heart makes" from DISNEY's cinderella (i know, what's up with all the cinderella)

the verse is EXACTLY 16 measures.

if it's for community theatre, you're fine. BUT if it's for a professional company, i wouldn't use a song from a disney movie.

Look at the sheet music for "Corner" and try to pick out the best 16 measures. Maybe start from "I'm a huntress on an african safari" and go to the end.

In my own little corner is a good audition song, i think. When i was 14/15 i used it and it worked pretty well and got me some good parts. I used the last 16 measures, starting with "I'm a girl men go mad for..." till the end. Hope this helps.
