i was roller blading, slid on some gravel, i didn't fall but my ankle went one way, my knee went another way, and now i'm waiting to hear if it's broken or not >_<
they sent me home on crutches with an ace bandage and my xrays were sent to a radiologist, beacuse with my history of fractures any little thing needs to be looked at, and they thought they saw a fracture.

I hope its good news!
I just fractured my ankle in February, so I can relate. Of course, you did yours in a respectable way. I was drunk and in high heels trying to walk over a meridian on a busy street.

Posted: 4/11/06 at 7:51pmSorry to hear about your leg. I broke my sister's leg with rollerblades. Long story short I fell down on top of her and my rollerblade crashed down on her leg. She was 4 and I was 8. I felt so horrible.

Posted: 4/11/06 at 9:07pmI know how you feel. Atleast you have a good story.. I sprained both of my ankles in one year. The first one was from running in a straight line, and the other one was during gym class volleyball. I'm so accident prone! FEEL BETTER! and make sure you ice it.

saw the orthopedic doctor today...
everyone who looks at my x-rays sees something but they have no idea what it is so i go for an mri whenever they can get me in. it's like this dark line on my bone that could be a cyst or bone marrow swelling.
untill then i'm now in a full leg cast/splint type thing... it's fiberglass like a cast but removable.
