Whenever you hear yourself singing on a recording does anyone else tend to cringe lol. I just hate hearing myself sing and i'm very very hard on myself. What's a way to overcome that feeling?

I hated listening to myself on a recording, but it is a really really good way to learn from your mistakes. You will be harder on yourself and will be able to hear things that you didn't notice during the performance. I found that the more you listen to yourself, the easier it gets to handle. When I teach or have a lesson, I record it so I can go back and listen and learn or have them do the same. hope that helps

yeah it does. but maybe recording on my phone is the best way to do so lol
