Back before previews started, I paid $137 per ticket to see Book of Mormon. Now I noticed that 'standard' (ie. not premium) orchestra tickets go for $155 per ticket. I know it won the Tony and it's doing really well, but does anyone else think this insane? I couldn't believe it when i saw 137.

Scalpers are getting $1500. $155 sounds like quite a bargain.

Thanks didn't realize there was already a thread on this (obviously I'm not the only one who thinks it's insane).

Well, glad I got the tickets for $137 then...and that we got tickets at all (and great seats too)
