Ok this is all just for fun because it is fun and fun is fun, so with that said, if you don't want to play, abort now!

Just for fun...what shows do you think will be the Best Musical nominees this year?

revival?

My unworthy meritless predictions...

Spamalot
Little Women (I have a good feeling about these first two)
Brooklyn
Chitty Chitty (maybe...or maybe Good Vibes or All Shook Up...not Dracula from what I read and hear)

***off topic question...where can I hear some Dracula clips? The site has none2005 Tony Awards

Joining in

Musical
Little Women
Brooklyn
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (or if bad reviews... The Color Purple)
Spamalot

Revival
The Wiz (assuming it finds a theater and money)
La Cage
Pacific Overtures
Sweet Charity

Predicted Winners:
Musical: Tight race, with Little Women squeaking by Brooklyn.
Revival: Look for a Sweet Charity upset, La Cage, well, we shall have to see if Gary Beach can continue to be great.
Play: Sight Unseen (or another MTC venture)
Revival of a Play: A Streetcar Named Desire, Twelve Angry Men, Gem of the Ocean? Probably Gem if it can hold on til June, otherwise, roundabout gets it for Streetcar.
Actress (M): Tight between Eden, Christina Applegate, and Sutton, but lets give it to Eden, assuming Brooklyn is still open come Tony time.
Actor (M): Gary Beach anyone?
Actress (P): Natasha Richardson or Sarah Jones (bridge and Tunnel), right now going with Richardson, for some reason, people seem to not like giving tonys to women who are in 1 person shows.
Actor (P): James Naughton?

Well, we shall have to see how the theater season shapes up. For now....

Ummm... The season just started. And there will be productions that will pop in, from off Broadway if the buzz is good. Not to mention surprise hits or flops. So can we really start this thread? And don't we have several going on already?
