Posted: 2/19/07 at 12:52amI dont really have any aversion to RENT staying open as long as they keep their casts fresh - I do think (judging from the grosses) that SPRING AWAKENING is really cutting into the audience that existed in New York City for years. I'm not sure RENT will be able to hold on too much longer if its grosses don't improve - but either way its had an amazing run. Just as its not fair to wish a show to close - I dont really see anything wrong with gracefully passing the torch when the time is right either.

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

voicesforrent is harmless fun, where people can love the show without bitter queens ruining things and making fun of them for loving RENT. Jeez.
