Do you need to have a great seat to fully enjoy this show? It is playing here in Los Angeles and rear bal. is available, will I still get a good experience that far back?
Help, I am trying to save money.

Posted: 1/12/06 at 9:08pmI was able to score tix at the very last minute when it was playing at the broadhurst. i sat in the absoolute last row..so far back, the sro guy almost poked me with his playbill..ANYWAYS, i might as well have been sitting up there with mr. crystal...it was absolutely incredible.. I missed the very top of a couple home movies/projections, but that was it..Get those tickets ASAP!

Posted: 1/12/06 at 9:10pmI felt SO TUNED IN to this show, I forgot that I was even IN an audience at times--and I wasn't anywhere close to the stage (at the Broadhurst). Incredible show--see it, no matter where you're seats are.

Enjoy it! Please post back and let us know what you thought.
Personally, I was amazed and the peaks and valleys of my emotions during this show. To be laughing THAT HARD and crying moments later--well it was quite a roller-coaster. Just remarkable.
Have fun!

I had standing room, and I never even realized that I had been standing for nearly three hours.
The show is truly amazing, enjoy it. Be prepared to cry!

Posted: 1/14/06 at 1:41amI sat in the rear balcony during 700 Sundays when it was playing in Chicago (at the cadillac Palace theatre...which is a lot bigger than the Broadhurst) and it was VERY enjoyable. You could always do what I do, bring binoculars.

Posted: 1/14/06 at 2:18amI actually saw it here at the Wilshire. I can't answer your tickets question (I sat in row A, which is like six rows back in the theatre), but the show is absolutely amazing. ENJOY IT!

Posted: 1/14/06 at 3:12amWell that's really all I could add to the conversation. HA! If I could've answered your question I would've. I personally wish that he was playing at another theater altogether as I don't remember caring for it the last time I saw a show there. But it was a while ago and it could very well have been the production and not the theater that was the problem. Or maybe both were fine but not when put together. See now why I chose to just mention that I'm going to see it? :)

Posted: 1/14/06 at 3:30amDon't worry about it, I had to read it over at least four times myself. It's late. I've worked crazy hours this week. I'll go to bed soon and be more coherent in the morning... promise!
