"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
I have to say that the whole theater needs some BIGTIME renovating. I'm 5' and I didn't have space in front of me to even cross my short legs in the balcony. I personally think that the way the theater is makes anywhere in the upper levels feel very removed from what is going on in the stage. That's just me being honest - BUT, that being said - the show itself is something worth seeing, even from the very last seat.
That's great about it being extended though I do think it was mostly so people holding tickets for the cancelled show(s?) could have a chance to see it. He was just getting over a cold or something when I saw it 2 weeks ago. Updated On: 2/19/06 at 03:07 PM
worst theater i have ever been to (and i've been to a lot). sat in the balcony for cabaret and rent. your lucky if you can see the stage from the back of the house. long and narrow theater.
