Ok, fine. I give up. Can I at least giggle a little inside that you are, despite of your hatred, STILL GOING TO SEE IT? :)
:) Of course you can.
You may notice that I changed the word hating to loathing in my original thread.
I don't really hate Wicked. It's okay. As I've said before, I really like a couple of songs from Wicked. I just can't get past the weak book and then poor character development.
I really wish I could get into it. I've tried. I love how passionate people are about it. I think that is great for Broadway assuming that every female lead isn't written with constant riffing. It opens up the door to Broadway to an entirely different group of young people and for that I'll say that Wicked is awesome. Just not one of my favorites.
It is ironic that my first post on these boards was a Wicked post and I think I PMed you asking for help at the lottery in LA.
Happy now? Sorry to threadjack.
Yes, yes you did! Ah the good old days. :) I forget if my advice helped or not.
Threadjacking over on my end as well...
I'd love to see a good revival of A Chorus Line! I saw a production here at the Shubert Theatre (when it was still in existance) about a week after seeing a high school production and I remember thinking that I enjoyed the HS production better. That's not a slam on the other one, it was still good... Hamilton HS just happens to have AMAZING productions!!

"A Chorus Line".
Do you know how exciting it would be to see the Broadway try out for the return of one of the best shows ever?

No contest. It's "A Chorus Line" hands down!
Wow, that's tough. They're both INCREDIBLE shows, which I love dearly.
Chorus Line is really deep, and very emotional, and very moving.
Wicked is really fun, and gets kinda emotional at the end...and watching a green girl launch herself 20 feet in the air is pretty damn cool.
You're in for something amazing either way you go.

I swear I put on my album of ACL because of this thread alone!
I love "Wicked" but since "A Chorus Line" is new and on it's way to Broadway I'd pick "A Chrous Line".
