wow, this seems to be a thinly veiled negative review of Taboo, no? the writer refers to the audience as less than rapturous.......later a theater involved person is quoted as saying they would walk out and the one positive audience quote this writer uses praises the costumes.
While not a review, this writer clearly gets his point across by mentioning the audience reaction. If I were Rosie, I suspect I would not be pleased about this.

I don't understand the quote "I 'would' walk out". Did he or didn't he?

Hmmm, I'm not sure. He allowed himself to be named. He won't work for the show anymore I guess.
I have to say I think the article is very underhand. Leave it to the official NYT critic.
