Last I heard it was pushed back this summer to an early January 2010 opening on Broadway. Maybe. Fingers crossed.

Also, until it plays on Broadway, don't expect to see it as part of the 2015 Encores! Concert Series. They only mount productions that appeared ON Broadway.

i saw the show in LA. i highly doubt it will make its way to Broadway.

I saw it in L.A. too, and I thought it was highly entertaining. Not amazing... but entertaining just the same. I'd love to see it come to Broadway.

I watched the original film. Hmmm. I just hope the musical is pretty much nothing like it.

I've heard it isn't anything like it. (And I agree with the thought. The film was a disaster.)
