They are referring to last night's Actors' Fund benefit at the Shubert Theatre, starring Brian Stokes Mitchell, Judy Kuhn, David Hyde Pierce and Karen Ziemba.

I was there.I liked it a lot better then most of the people on the talkin broadway board.I was in the 1st row orch dead center so I couldn't have asked for a better seat.The talent was amazing . BSM was wonderful as George Bailey . Even playing the young George about to go off to Europe before college he played youthful without coming off silly . The score was a lot of fun . "Next Stop ,Europe" , "In A State" ," Wings" (Clarences song, of course) and the title song were my favorites.I'd love to see a full production . AND SOMEONE PUT JUDY KUHN BACK ON BROADWAY!! -special mention to the great charleston led by the powerhouse Michael Bererresse.
