None of the advertisements & press releases mention Nathan Lane as taking part in the Barnes & Noble signing on July 15.

Seems strange, no? I'm disappointed. Is he REALLY not going to attend this thing? Nothing against the rest of the cast (who are insanely talented), but have they ever had an in-store event like this where the star did not participate? (Okay, one of the stars. Sorry, Bebe.)

Posted: 7/6/10 at 4:36pmYes, this is odd. It doesn't seem like Terrence Mann or Kevin Chamberlin are participating either, which makes it even more odd. You would think that this type of publicity event would have been set down in their contracts.

Why is it surprising that Lane isn't signing. He doesn't sign after shows, so why do it at a bookstore? I'm fairly sure that if he wanted a contract that stipulated no promotional appearances outside of television, he would be granted that.
Plus those songs are dreck. They should be giving the CDs away.
