After Ashley stage door

I'm seeing After Ashley next week (I can't wait!) and I'm looking for info on the stage door. Where is it? Do the stars (particularly Culkin and Paquin) usually come out and sign? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

There is no stage door, its a tiny theatre. The stars just come out through the only door. If you wait in the lobby you will catch them leaving. When I went we caught most of the cast. Keiran and Anna signed, but when my friend asked if she could get a picture with them, they said "we don't do that" and ran away giggling to each other

Yeah, I was so suprised when they said that. i guess I'm used to the incredible graciousness of Broadway stars. Other people who have met them said they were nice thoough, so who knows...

Yeah, a friend of mine who worked with Anna not too long ago said that she was a sweetheart. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Why...is not wanting to have your picture taken with someone you've never met..and will probably never see again RUDE?? It's not as if it's part of the ticket price...they signed autographs...which is also not part of the ticket price...seems the more people get the more they want.

Chill. The fact that they ran away giggling doesn't seem odd to you, in any way?

Actually no...it doesn't seems strange to me. Since neither you nor I know what they were giggling about. It could have been totally unrelated to the request for a photograph.
What I do find strange is that whenever a performer doesn't grant a request from an autograph seeker...or in this case a photograph taker...they are automatically branded as being rude...and become fodder for the message boards.

I saw the show tonight (it was great) and Anna and Kieran signed but they said no to pictures. Maybe it's just something they don't like to do?

That's understandable. They aren't obligated to take pictures or even to sign autographs.
