Anyone watch the AMAs earlier this evening on ABC? Anyone catch Best Actress Tony Award winner and recording artist Heather Headley present an award? Anyone catch all those bubbles above the heads of everyone in audience? They all read: "Who is she?"

She is starting to make a name for herself in the R&B world--not as many bubbles as you would think.

I enjoyed seeing an R&B artist speak articulately. None of the whole, "You know what I'm sayin'? I'm just keepin' it real, yo. Holla! Ah yeeah Ah yeeah!"

I wish I got to see Heather Headley. I saw her sing on the Rosie O' Donnell show when she was still performing as Aida and Rosie was still on TV and I was extremely impressed by her crystal clear talent.
I got to see Simone, who yes is also extremely gifted, but surely not Heather Headley. Still I enjoyed Simone's and Pascal's performances, but it was Felecia Finley who stole the show.
