Has anyone seen All Nighter in the Newman at MCC's Theater space? It is not an MCC show.

I have heard absolutely 0 buzz about this one

Although I trust this board more and am looking forward to hearing from people who've seen it, the reviews on Show Score are consistently strong enough to have led me (along with the great cast) to buy tickets for my April trip.

Oddly enough, the only people I've seen posting heavily about this are Ben Platt & Noah Galvin (who I believe are producers on this), and Olivia Puckett (an understudy in the show I just happen to follow. I would assume it's aimed at college aged people, but their social media ads are nowhere to be seen for me either.
I saw a reading of this play several years ago and thought it was fantastic, but I am a woman of similar age to the playwright & think it really resonates with me, and likely will with other Zillenial women. I think it really captured that moment of anxiety when you're about to enter adulthood after college. It was funny & moving & felt very relatable. I'm curious to see how it reads fully staged since it seemed to be just...girls sitting at a table the whole play.
I'm making plans to see this based on the reading, and because of Julia Lester, but I'm curious if anyone's caught a performance yet. Seems like they've sold out their first few shows.

I'm planning a trip at the end of the April and I always try to fit in some off-broadway and this play seemed really interesting and I love the cast. So I look forward to hearing what people think.

I absolutely loved this. The ending didn't quite land for me, but the rest was poignant and hilarious. Julia Lester is the definition of a scene stealer in this and the audience was absolutely EATING it up.
Interesting. Thank you.
I was thrown off by the reviews Show-Score. The reviewers had 1-3 reviews each which translates into "people associated with the show".
Good to know people are actually enjoying it.

Launching Into Adulthood, With Frenemies and Hummus: All Nighter
https://www.vulture.com/article/theater-review-all-nighter-margolin.html
"In doing all that detail work, Margolin is too polite and respectful toward her own characters. She feints in some spiky and productively uncomfortable (non-derogatory) directions, but doesn’t sit in them."

"By the time Julia Lester inches her way down into a full split, the audience has already fallen head-over-heels in love with her. As the character with the least amount of stage time, she steals the show.
Not that the other four women onstage aren’t doing fine work in Natalie Margolin’s uneven new play,"

ALL NIGHTER: FIVE COLLEGE SENIORS FACE GRADUATION AND EACH OTHER
By David Finkle
★★★☆☆ Natalie Margolin's slightly hampered dramedy, well directed by Jake Bradley and well played

‘All Nighter’ Review: No Sleep but Plenty of Gripes
A new play about a group of college students putting in one last study session evokes recent stories about young women, but without the well-rounded characters.

" if you take a group of five college seniors, some stimulants and a few secrets, then throw them together into a pressure cooker in the form of a nightlong work session, there should be plenty of extracurricular drama to go around. But by the time the sun comes up in “All Nighter,” which opened Sunday at the MCC Theater, this underwhelming play feels as if it has left a lot of unfinished work on the table."

Saw this tonight. Just awful. Hits most every hot button issue facing college aged women as if working off a checklist, foregoing active scenes and character development in favor of characters sitting around a table talking about their feelings. Clunky direction and fully felt performances sadly dialed up to caricature don't help. In the last fifteen minutes the play seems to finally get going, but then it ends. Julia Lester entertains in her moments onstage - she plays the only character who comes and goes throughout - but when she's not on this commits the biggest sin of all - it's just plain boring.

the most solid part, as things finally happen, and Julia Lester entertains in her few moments she is onstage. Worst of all, it's just boring.

Well clearly I reworded myself a few times and ended up posting some of my scratch too. I don't know how to edit or delete on here, if there even is a way someone please let me know.
