If there is a planned Q&A, I would ask him on an update on the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" stage musical in the US. The songs from the film and Berlin stage version are amazing and deserve a US stage production. The weird thing is, they are planning a tv show which I thought would conflict with a future stage production. Anybody here can share some light?

Do any of you live in the SCV? I use to for about 10 years then moved.

oh ok.
I know the area. I went to VHS, and attended COC- and moved just after the new COC theatre (where the Schwartz night is taking place) was being built.
I find it funny that the SCV is trying to be Art and Theatre friendly, when it just isn't.

Posted: 10/22/06 at 3:49pmI saw a similar concert about 7 years ago in Marin(I think much more scaled down) as it was just Stephen Schwartz with Lisa Vroman joining him It was definitely a great evening and worth it. He is so real, down to earth, and really authentic. In addition to being one of the greatest broadway compsers of the 20th and as of now early 21st centuries.

HOLY CRAP.
Wait, some of you guys live in SCV?
HOLY CRAP DUDE I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE.
God, I am so mad about this though.
As you guys will know...NOTHING ever happens in SCV. And then THIS happens. And I'm not going to be able to go. Because I'm in Santa Cruz because I'm going here for school.
Damn me for not having a car up here.
I can't believe like...how insanely strange this is. That something of this scale isn't coming to LA, but effing SANTA CLARITA.
And the ONE time.....I'm not there.
It's been killing me ever since I heard about it last week.
