that is sad, i hope she gets something lined up for afterwards.
i would also like to just take this time to say that ann harada clearly should have received at least a tony nomination 2 years ago. but i digress.

I was gonna go see Steph before she leaves but now I won't get to see Ann before she leaves. AHHHH! Maybe I should just take this chance to see Steph and the new Christmas Eve.
Does anyone know if and what Ann has planned after her leave in Feb? I haven't heard anything and I'm thinking maybe she'll stay home and 'bond' with Elvis (who I saw about a month ago when I went to see Q.) Very cute and he is 1 now! Where has this year gone?!?!
It's so hard to see the original cast breaking up...

Why isn't Ann Sanders getting to play the role? She played it during Harada's maternity leave.
I would have gone back to see her do it.
Perhaps she'll be the permanent replacement?
On a related note....why does Christmas Eve need three (3!!!!!) understudies? They've got Sanders, Sala Iwamatsu (who is taking over), and Minglie Chen. Is there really a need for three covers?

Posted: 11/29/05 at 5:28pmAnn Sanders is not in the company right now, but hopefully she will be back soon. Sala is not an understudy, she's coming in just to do the role while Anne Harada is gone and Minglie will continue to be the understudy.
