Looked for it today at my local Suncoast. I couldn't find the damn DVD for the life of me. I looked in Drama and Musicals and had no luck. I couldn't even find the new "Cabaret" DVD either. But I did however get "Chicago."

with old films relreleased you HAVE TO ASK the front desk. Basically for ANYTHING musical theatre you HAVE to ask the desk because 90% of the time when i go on the release date the store hasn't taken them outta the stock room and placed them on the shelves yet, even by evening time! they feel no one's gonna buy it. So i ALWAYS have to ask..

Same thing with OCRs. Whats up with the store combining their soundtracks and cast recordings? Like we say here all the time, they have different names!!

I was at Target tonight and was looking for the Chicago VHS and found All That Jazz in the DVD New Realease Section (next to Chicago). Instead of Chicago, I got the Gypsy Recording.

I wonder why it's so cheap? Maybe because it's not a very popular movie w/ common folk. And, I know this since my father does this, if he sees a DVD for only $9 he's bound to be interested. So maybe they're tryin' to get them sold quicker?

it's also an MGM Musical Dvd, so, just like A Chorus Line, they are sold for $9.99!! Better for us!
