Should one wear makeup at an audition?

I would say very little make-up or natural looking make-up.

You can if you want, just make it very natural. Nothing too heavy.

Just wear makeup as you normally would.

Natural = concealer (for spots and undereye darkness. not foundation, unless your skin is a roadmap of misery), balm or lipgloss in natural shade (nothing too glossy, that's porno), maybe eyeshadow (in tans, browns and other contouring colors), and mascara (probably brown, obviously not the spidery kind, maybe even go with clear.)

If you don't know how to pull of the "airbrushed version of yourself" kind of makeup that doesn't scream makeup, you should probably not wear anything but lip balm.

That's the issue, I normally don't unless I have a reason. However, I'm fully capable of putting on makeup. I just wanted the general consensus of whether it's something to do.

If you don't generally wear make-up then I don't see the need to do so for an audition. When I made the first post I thought you wore make-up.

i wouldnt wear "stage makeup"...just do whatever makes u look the most attractive. that is usually the goal at an audition..even if you are a character actress. my suggestion would be do whatever you feel smooths out your complexion and brightens your undereyes (whethere it be just powder, some concealor, foundation, or tinted moisturizer...) I would suggest some mascara to brighten and bring focus to your eyes and definately some blush or bronzer to give some color. that will make you look healthy and polished. ofcourse you can add and delete.
