August film question

I saw the "August" film earlier today, but we arrived a few minutes late and missed the beginning. When we walked in, Mattie Fae was just arriving. Could someone please tell me how the film began? Did they include the dialogue with Johnna and Beverly? What was the first shot? Thanks so much!

Yes, they began with Beverly talking to Johnna and Violet coming down and talking a little. The next scene was Barbara getting a call from Ivy to tell her that father was missing. The next scene was Mattie Fae's arrival.
