BAM - Harvey Theater - Partial View? How bad?

Hi,

Looking at tickets to John Gabriel Borkman. How bad are the Orchestra partial view seats? Any experience?

It depends on which partial view seats you end up in. There are quite a few seats directly behind posts, which block your view entirely, and there are some that are just behind the railings where the wheelchairs are seated, which in my experience (seeing Streetcar from one of the latter) was fine - not spectacular, but a lot less expensive, and I was still able to see 90% of the show clearly. My advice is to call the BAM box office and ask them. They couldn't have been nicer when I asked about the partial view seats, and they told me exactly which locations were behind the posts and which ones provided clear views.
