Hi all !
I had a fantastic time in the glorious city of New York. Unfortunately due to a flight problem, I couldn't make it to the Flea market on time, but they told me it was great ! It was wonderful meeting luvtheemcee, she was as sweet, smart and friendly as I knew she would be ! And she is really pretty, too ! Thanks again sweetie ! Ok, on with the shows
I saw Forbidden Broadway which was very good, funny, but I wasn't really excited ! A good night out and that's it !
I was passing by the tkts booth one day and it didn't have a long line, so I ended up seeing RENT again ! I loved it !!! It was only my second time, but I really enjoyed it and it touched me again. Krystal Washington as Mimi was amazing, but Drew Lachey was far beyond Matt Caplan who was an extraordinary Mark when I saw it back in December !
BRKLYN was great !! It was the first time seeing something so inventive on stage. If the director doesn't get the TONY, I don't know what to say. The costumes are out of this world and the whole cast except Kevin Anderson who looked kind of bored, was GREAT !! Standing Ovation in the end and I think it's gonna be a big hit !
42nd street was just how I expected it ! A glorious, lavish, fun production, a great night, but if you ask me today, I don't really remember much :)
I tried the Lottery at Avenue Q about 4 times but no luck. Maybe next time! But I have to say, having seen Barret Foa on the Q Debate at Times Square, I can now say I have added a new crush on my list, the boy is gorgeous !!!
So, overall it was a great trip, I had fun and hope to come again soon to the greatest city on earth !
Glad to be back to the Forum, I missed you all :)
