Has anyone seen this yet?
I'm a big Lori Fischer fan, from her days at Don't Tell Mama, and I'd love to hear what anyone thought about her new one woman show at the Lambs.

Nobody?
I'm headed to the Lamb's on Friday night to see it, will report then.

I saw it yesterday afternoon. It was enjoyable, but nothing earth-shattering. Some of her characterizations are better than others. The old woman Miss Tessie and the young boy Tommy Lee were my favorite. The others I could take or leave. The music was country in tone, simplistic but not very memorable.
A nice way to spend a scorching afternoon though.

Thanks for the review, bwayfan3!
I'm looking forward to it, and will post back with my opinions after I see it.
And stay out of the heat!

I was one of the few on here who liked Ring of Fire.
I like good Blue Grass music and sometimes Country if it's well done.
This ain't.

Wow, nom de plume.
No problem here. We disagree. It happens.

Yeah, we do, VeuveClicquot, and no offense.
I just remember people on here didn't like the "Look at Them Beans" song from Ring of Fire, which being the grandchild of gentlefolk farmers I didn't mind.

No prob, Nom.
I went to three Off-Broadway shows last week:
"SHOUT," BARBARA'S BLUE KIGTCHEN," and "CAPITOL STEPS."
BBC was by far the best one.
I'm just saying.

Will do.
I liked The Great Trailer Park Musical and Always...Patsy Cline very much for Off Broadway Country-style musicals.
