Behind the Emerald Curtain Tour -is it worht it?

I am sorry if this has been asked before. I am a newbie to this site.

I was just wondering if the tour was worth the time and money? I am going to NYC in a few weeks and even though I am not seeing the show, I am intersted in seeing the behind the scenes stuff. If you have seen it, did you like it?

Do not do it.

It is a big waste of money and they don't show you anything of substance.

You go backstage. They show you how the dragon works. I didn't get to see how elphaba flies, but apparantley other people who have done the tour got to see it.

If you're lucky you might get to see someone in the show. IF YOU'RE LUCKY.

It's a lot of money, so it's probably not worth it.

when it says there will be "real cast members" they mean there will MAYBE be a swing. maybe. you see some of the original costumes, then watch a movie. I was dissapointed.

I know one or two who have gone. Many people on the board have gone. I, myself, have not. Nonetheless, I don't think I'd be stepping on anyone toes in stating that the concensus of the tour best follows the descriptions of everyone who posted. It's not really a behind-the-scenes tour or a backstage tour. It's mostly a compilation of the original cast memorabilia.

No, you don't. You go through the theater lobby into the auditorium.

It's usually led by Sean McCourt and Anthony Glade in NY.
