Like Elder Price, the road tour of "The Book of Mormon," set to kick off this August, won't be going to Orlando—or anywhere in the South—just yet. On the first leg of the tour, the show will largely be sticking to the coasts and a handful of major Midwestern cities.

anmiller07, thanks for sharing that link to the WSJ.
Scott Rudin and Anne Garefino need to realize that not bringing BOM to Houston this season was simply dumb. Houston has the nation's 2nd largest theatre district. To not think of Houston as a "large cit[y] with fairly affluent theater audiences" is a severe overshight on their parts.

Posted: 9/10/12 at 6:52pmI'm glad Portland has always been big on the touring market getting most shows in there first or second years, but our presenters could only book the show for a week so I think this didn't come easy when booking venues.
