I feel bad for the actors. They should have cast someone who was...well, interesting. I mean c'mon. The girls very pretty, but she's not interesting to watch. You need someone with that "it" factor, and she doesn't quite have that.

it's not just actors. The adaptation is dull as dishwater. The direction is lame.
The actors have no chemistry but that should have been addressed by the director.

And on the complete other side of the spectrum is the Post, with three out of four stars. http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/theater/holly_good_show_fLIllgneoJg0AxDEK5PkqI
How long before closing notices? One wonders.
Oh, well, darling, it didn't seem very likely to succeed anyway. How was the party?

I disliked it, but my dislike wasn't very passionate.
"The word that keeps popping into my head is 'pathetic'—this is a pathetic production, one where nothing about it need be wrong and yet nothing about it is right. But instead of frustration with the writer, with the director, or with the actors, I just feel sorry for them as they flush this opportunity down the toilet. The entire production is too lifeless to inspire any feelings beyond casual indifference."
My review of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S
Is it me, or do some of the actors seem miserable in the curtain call pictures?
The cat sure doesn't look happy.
Maybe he saw the show too...
Seth McFarlane and Emilia Clarke Split
According to the report, the couple found it difficult to maintain their relationship with Clarke frequently going overseas to film Game of Thrones.
Being an alcoholic closeted gay showtune queen may not have helped either... (FYI, I adore Seth MacFarlane.)
