What is the song "If you leave me" from? It's playing right now, but it's one of the songs that doesn't have the musical it's from on it.

Hey there,

That one's by Amanda Green, off her recent recording of "Put A Little Love In Your Mouth". I *think* the singer is Brooks Ashmanskas.

I HATE that some songs don't get displayed properly... I hope to be "improving" that soon.

Yeah... it can be pretty annoying if you hear a good song, and then can't figure out what it's from. Do you ever play "The Spitfire Grill" anymore?

One gets it right here at Broadwayworld.com!

Re: Spitfire: Yep, it gets played! The way to hear MORE is to go into the CD Library (there's a link near the top of the radio page) and VOTE for the songs on it.

The radio station is programmed so that new and popular recordings are scheduled more often that the less popular ones... so if you want to hear more Spitfire (it's one of my personal faves), give your favorite songs high ratings, and request them often (there's a request link next to the rating link for each song)!

i do that about 3 times a day! It's insane how often I visit that site! I'm one of the listeners from live365 days. I always seem to miss it though... Are you bringing back the top 20 countdown? I used to love that! I would listen EVERY week loyally!

It may come back -- the response it got was too lukewarm to justify the time and energy required to put it together. You may see it reappear in a modified format... but nothing's firm!

Yes, the Modern Broadway design comes up as the CD art.

Hi Kris, I tried to request some songs and got a message that I had already done that and doing so again wouldn't improve my chances. I only did it once a night. How long between requests?

Hey DofB -- I have it set to allow only one request per song, per week, actually. This was done to prevent abuse of the system... it also helps stem off the sheer number of requests that are pouring in -- it really is impossible to handle them all.

I'm thinking about lowering it to ~24 hours. In fact, what the heck -- I'll knock it down and we'll see what happens... Play nice re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Broadway Radio

Thanks, Kris. The only problem is (and believe me I understand your swamped), I make my request early (around 7 PM) and I have yet to hear one of them by the time I have to log off at about 9:30 PM--note that's on a work night.

I don't want you to think I'm always complaining. I LOVE the radio. I just listened last night without requesting anything and really enjoyed what I heard.
