The subject essentially says it all. Tickets to The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Circle on the Square Theatre go on sale to the general public on March 21st. They are currently only on sale to American Express Gold Members.

Often Circle in the Square has rush. I'm hoping they have it for Spelling Bee.

Turning out to be quite the season for musical comedy. Or maybe it's just a recent Broadway trend.

Posted: 3/5/05 at 1:45amI think that's been the trend since THE PRODUCERS won the Tony. Musical dramas aren't nearly as produced now as they were in the 80s and 90s.

1. When they say the box office opens 3/21, does that mean that the actual box office opens that day at 10am and/or the online box office opens?
2. WHY aren't I an American Express Gold Card member? *cries*
3. I'm worried because I NEED to see Spelling Bee before May 3rd, so I don't know if I want to gamble on rush... what if it starts selling like crazy and then they have no rush? Or what if rush is super popular?
4. So far, it says all seats are $95...
